While one of the coaches languished in Nottingham, the Foxes coped very well without him and recorded a well-deserved win.
After a couple of draws which the Foxes should have won, we picked up our first league win of the season against a strong Bishopston Utd. The Foxes started the brighter creating a number of chances in the first 10 minutes but it was the away side that took the lead with a well worked goal on the break. Omar brought the scores level with a fine finish just before halftime.
The lead swapped throughout the second half with Raul putting the Foxes 2-1 up before Bishopston brought the score back to 2-2.
The deadlock was once more short lived as good work down by Jack C gave him his first goal of the season and the Foxes third, before Omar , the Foxes man of the match, then scored another fine goal to put his side in the driving seat. Bishopston pulled one back with a minute to go when Bishopston scored their second, but time ran out for the away side and the Foxes took all three points.
An overdue but well deserved win.
