The second half saw the Foxes start to dominate possession
and the lack of substitutes for Ashley Down really began to bite. More goals,
all of a high standard came from Danny, Henry and, on a day of great goals the
best of all, from Dom Riley. Jack also hit the post and Ed had a late effort
ruled off-side.

BSYL Yr10 – Ashely Down 1 – 5 Foxes. 20/02
Ashley Down always provide the Foxes with tough opponents
and on a wet and windy morning at Muller Road, the Foxes were expecting a close
encounter. The pitch was heavy and both sides faced a challenge of a sticky,
lumpy surface. To the Foxes credit this did not stop us looking to get the ball
‘down’ and moving quickly and we were rewarded with some fine moments. These
came, however, after the home side had taken the lead from a well worked free
kick. This seemed to fire the Foxes into action as first Nick and then Danny
scored lovely strickes after good team build up play. 2-1 at half time to the
Foxes.
Well played boys.
