Record-breaking Foxes Reach Seven-Year High

A huge number of young children turned out to join Reception football on the Downs on Saturday - and helped make Westbury Park Foxes complete.

A record-breaking 22 children joined in the fun in the sun (and later some quite heavy rain), although official counters did admit their job was made difficult by the children moving around so much.

No-one seemed put off that the coaches were wearing silly green wigs (or that it was raining) and we hope everyone comes back for more next week.

The start of Reception football means that the Foxes now offer fun football to every child at Westbury Park School, from Reception to Y6. Everyone is welcome to join in.

As part of the celebrations, Club Treasurer Andy Marshall revealed that Basil Brush (the real one off the telly) has joined us as mascot. More details about that later.

Hah ha ha ha. Boom. Boom. (Or some such.)
