The Foxes tasted defeat at St Bedes for the first time since moving to the 3G and, without doubt turned in their worst performance of the season. Thornbury, having never beaten the Foxes in this age group in the BSYL, dominated the game from first to last and thoroughly deserved the three points.
Two break goals in the first half left the home side with a mountain to climb, and despite goals from Danny and Omar, Thornbury took full advantage of the Foxes pressing to get back into the game, taking their chances very well. In goal, Owen did not have a chance with any of them and actually made some very good saves from other chances.
Ed was awarded the man of the match for a tireless and skilful performance.
