The two sides, playing with contrasting styles, swapped the lead throughout and the result was in doubt until the final whistle. Wickwar took a 3-1 lead into half time but the Foxes pulled level at 3-3 and hit the post or bar on at least four occasions.
The home side scored two more before the Foxes narrowed the gap again. The Foxes goals came from Omar, with three, and Joe.
At 5-4 the game could easily ended with the points shared but Wickwar held out, although it was very close with the photos showing a late incident where, just perhaps, the decision should have gone the Foxes way.
