Year 6 go down narrowly on huge pitch at Shire Colts

The year 6 boys played their first ever 11-a-side match on Saturday on a huge pitch and even bigger goals (at least compared to our two great goalies Danny and Tom). In the end despite conceding two goals early on the Foxes played some fantastic football netting five times (Ben 2, Gabe 2, Oliver W) and displaying great vision and awareness. We were without a number of key players so the 11 we had had to play the full 60 minutes but the boys proved their fitness well. The final score was 7-5 to Shire Colts but we all had a great time.

Well done to the whole team: Danny, Adam, Sam, Harvey, Ben, Eddie, Gabe, Oliver W, Oliver D, Tom, Lukha.

Ben picked up the Player of the Week award and Tom (for his masterly performance of complete dejection as a goal went in) took the gong for Comedy.
