BGL u10 Westbury Park Foxes 7-0 Downend Flyers

Foxes sign off in style!

The final game of the season saw the Foxes take on Downend, and whilst second place was secure everyone wanted to end the season on a high note.
Changes were rung to the starting line up with Bea partnering Amelia in defence, with Lulu moving into midfield with Izzy and Mara, and Lily the sole striker.
Birthday girl Mara won the toss and wisely played down the slope. The Foxes were dominant from the off, with no sign of rustiness after the Easter break, and were quickly into their stride. Lulu and Izzy were winning the ball  in midfield allowing Mara and Lily to break, and a goal for Mara and a Lily hat-trick meant a 4-0 first half lead for the home team.
Changes for the second half brought Ruby, Ella B and Sim off the bench, and saw Lulu and Betty swap goalie and midfield duties, as the Foxes played up the hill. Again great determination and swift passing put the Foxes on top, and a goal for Betty, and a couple for Sim meant the score reflected the dominance of the Foxes.

A great way to end a fine debut season for the Foxes girls in the BGL!
