A game dominated by the weather ended in a win for the Westbury Park Foxes. Playing with the wind and the slope in the first half, the home side should have made more of their pressure and possession. Danny hit the bar with a strong shot before Joey scored with a shot that wriggled under the Shire keeper. Other chances came and went before Dannytucked in a near post effort.

2-0 at half time. Shire came out with real determination and reduced the deficit early on.  The second half saw action at both ends and either side could have added to their total, the closest being when Seb made a vital goal line clearance for the Foxes which, with the rest of his performance, made him the man of the match.
