Year 4 vs Rockleaze - 30th January

As always a closely contested series of games between the two clubs. As always the Foxes split into two evenly matched squads. As it transpired Rockleaze came with a clear 'A' and 'B' split so the Foxes did well to win two, draw one and see defeat in only one.

Andy and Ewan's squad started very well winning the first game 7-0 and playing some very high quality football with Sam L standing out for his vision and passing, Ollie K for his tackling and Ollie C and Owen for their calm defending. Rocklaeaze were unlucky not to score at least once but the passing and movement by the Foxes was high quality with Omar scoring four and Danny three (having played in goal in the first half he wants me to point out). In the second game we started brightly and should have taken the lead but Rockleaze scored two good goals and only some great keeping from Ollie K kept it to 2-0 at half time. The Foxes tried a couple of new keepers in the second half and were quickly 4-0 down but came back strongly and could easily have scored one or more by the final whistle.

Graham and Dave's squad did really well to come back to draw their first game 2-2 with a great penalty from Sonny in the dying moments earning the draw. The second game saw a 5-2 victory as again the Foxes mixed up their formation to give everyone a good run out.

Overall a good day for the Foxes with many solid performance but the players of the week proved to be Sam L and Max.
