The competitive side of 2012 ended with another draw as, after an exciting and enjoyable game, Owen made a great last-minute penalty save to stop Rockleaze snatching all three points.
On a heavy pitch westarted brightly but Rockleaze created two chances on the break and took them both through. To our credit, the Foxes did not panic and continued to dominate possession with Sam L, Harry and Danny each scoring to leave the score a 3-2 at half time.
The second half saw end to end action with Rockleaze levelling the score with 15 minutes to go, another goal on the break. Either side could have gone on to win but with the state of the pitch leaving both sets of players tired, Rockleaze got their chance with their last minute spot kick that Foxes hero Owen pushed around the post.
Great performances throughout but man of the match went to Harri for a commanding game at centre back.
