Because of half-term there won't be an formal training for Year 4 this weekend, however I'm sure there'll be some sort of Lads vs Dads game on The Downs around 10am if you're around.
Well done to those who played against Backwell Athletic last weekend! We played some great football & lost narrowly despite Backwell having twice as many players & being able to field a fresh team half way through. Andrew, Giorgios & Dom made some terrific saves in goal, Romi & Kiran worked as a great team in defence, Andrew & Hamish tacked in midfield and Connor & Ben J scored a goal each amongst a number of other chances (we hit the woodwork at least a couple of times). So very well done!
